A Smooth Transition at 99!

Evaline Richmond, resident, and Betzy Mijangos-Lopez, Shahbaz, at Saint Elizabeth GREEN HOUSE® HomesEvaline Richmond, 99-year-old resident at Saint Elizabeth GREEN HOUSE® Homes, is thrilled with her new home and grateful for the smooth transition in her care.

After residing for seven years at Saint Elizabeth Assisted Living, she knew it was time to seek more care as her vision was waning. “Evaline is a great example of how we can care for an individual as they age by providing the right care, in the right place, at the right time, all within our organization,” says Kathy Parker, Director of Admissions and Care Navigation. Prior to coming to Saint Elizabeth Assisted Living at 91, Evaline was living independently in Lincoln. She worked as a bookkeeper and, through her work and her church, she made lifelong friends and has an incredible support group. An avid reader on her Kindle, she also enjoys listening to music. Evaline sang in her church choir and faith is important to her.

Evaline recently sent a video message of thanks to Maggie Connelly, Administrator at Saint Elizabeth Assisted Living, and her team, saying: “I just could not be happier. I miss all of you, but it is so nice here!”
