Director of Human Resources, Saint Elizabeth Community, Our Leadership
Kate brings a strong commitment to service and mission, combined with specialized experience in multi-location, non-profit environments and eldercare. As Director of Human Resources, Kate manages the SEC HR team and Payroll team, and navigates all strategic employee-centered initiatives across Saint Elizabeth Community.
Kate is a graduate of Regis College, Weston, MA and received her Master's degree from UMASS Dartmouth. She is currently pursuing her JD at UMASS School of Law. She also holds SPHR certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources, and is a Certified Plan Sponsor Professional. Kate has 20 years of Human Resources experience, mostly in non-profit mission-driven environments, and specialized in non-profit eldercare settings. Kate was employed with the Diocese of Providence prior to her role at Saint Elizabeth Community, where she served as the Diocesan HR Manager and HR Director of the Diocesan Health Facilities.
Many of those who know Kate refer to her as a Renaissance woman, with her most beloved hobby being music. Kate has performed internationally in 9 countries over her past 25 years as a singer and performed with choral groups in MA and RI. She also enjoys rowing with the Watuppa Rowing Center in Fall River, MA. She resides in Swansea, MA with her husband Bill where they enjoy gardening and travel.
